The JLPT N1 is the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, intended for advanced students of Japanese. At this level of Japanese study, you encounter many Kanji having the same reading but with different meanings.
A sign you have mastered Japanese Kanji is when you can choose correctly among these related Kanji based on the sentence context. That's where this fun, free Japanese quiz can help. For an extra challenge, leave the furigana (hiragana above the Kanji) off, and read the full sentences unaided.
